Social commerce startup Wishlink has raised $17.5 Mn (around ₹159 Cr) in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, along with participation from existing investors including Fundamentum and Elevation Capital.
The Delhi NCR-based startup plans to deploy the freshly raised capital in expanding its creator network, creating more AI-based tools for both creators as well as brands.
“We intend to build tech both on the creator side as well as the brand side. Along with that, we want to keep on solving discovery for end consumers,” Wishlink founder Divyansh Ameta told Inc42.
Founded in 2022 by Ameta, Chandan Yadav, and Shaurya Gupta, Wishlink connects social media content creators with brands and enables creators to share monetisable product links with their audiences.
The startup’s platform helps creators in improving their content workflow. Brands can connect with creators via Wishlink’s platform. For consumers, it claims that its platform eases the product discovery process.
“For example, I made a H&M content in which I commented on some products. I can just link those products with my content and my followers can shop through those links, through my Wishlink bio as well as certain automations that we have done on top of Instagram,” Ameta added.
Wishlink generates revenue through commissions earned from partner brands. It tracks product sales made via creators’ affiliate links on brand websites and charges a commission on each transaction. A portion of this commission is then shared with the creators.
While the startup initially started with facilitating brand and creator collaborations, now it also helps creators better plan their content.
The startup claims to be enabling more than 6 Mn orders and ₹350 Cr in monthly sales for its partner brands and ecommerce platforms — with 40,000 monthly active content creators.
On the financial front, the company is projecting a revenue of ₹150 Cr in the fiscal ending in March 2026, Ameta added.
Wishlink competes with the likes of Peepul Tree and HYPD.
