iPhone maker Apple posted an all-time high revenue in India in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, ended September 27, on high demand for its products.

“We grew in the vast majority of markets we track and had September quarter revenue records in dozens of markets, including the US, Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Korea and South Asia. We also set a September quarter revenue record in emerging markets and an all-time revenue record in India,” Apple chief executive Tim Cook said in a post-earnings call.

Apple doesn’t give country-wise revenue numbers.

While Apple is gradually shifting iPhone manufacturing to India, the country has also emerged as an important market for the company over the past few years. To cater to the rising demand, Apple has been expanding its flagship store network in India.

In September, the company opened new stores in Bengaluru and Pune. Apple also plans to open two more stores in Mumbai and Noida in the coming months, taking its total store count to six.

“Turning to retail, we’re heading into our busiest time of the year with our best ever lineup. In the last few months, we’ve opened new stores in emerging markets like India, and the UAE, and new locations in the US and China,” Cook said.

Overall, Apple’s sales rose almost 8% to $102.47 Bn in the September quarter of 2025 from $94.93 Bn in the year-ago period. iPhones accounted for 47.8% of the total sales in the quarter.

Notably, Apple also posted a record revenue in India in the preceding June quarter. The Apple CEO attributed that to double-digit growth across iPhones, Macs and services.

As per reports, Apple’s sales in India hit a record high $9 Bn in FY25, marking a 13% increase from $8 Bn in the previous year, as demand for iPhones surged.

Meanwhile, Apple’s exports from India are also on the rise as the company’s manufacturing ecosystem grows in the country. Apple reportedly exported a record $10 Bn worth iPhones from India in the first six months of FY26, reflecting a 75% jump from $5.71 Bn in the same period last year.
