Google Glass Coming up in 2014

Google Glass is a wearable computer with a head mounted display. It displays information in a smartphone-like hands-free format, which can interact with the Internet via natural language voice commands

Google Glass infact allows users to receive and execute onscreen directions, send voice-controlled messages, and search the web through speech. The UI also includes voice-controlled photos, and suggests that the device will offer onscreen translation support.

Glass Specs: Full Day Battery Life, 5MP Camera, 720p Video, 16GB Flash Memory & Bone Conduction Transducer, Wifi – 802.11b/g.

The MyGlass companion app requires Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher. MyGlass enables GPS and SMS messaging.

Google hopes to launch Glass by early 2014, though the company is already pushing out developer editions, priced at $1,500. A consumer version will be available by the end of 2013 for under $1,500.
